Pros

They gave me a job.

Cons

They are so poorly run it's incredible. Turnover is very high because no one gets any raises and the wages are already too low to begin with. If you want a raise at this company, you basically need a job offer at another company for more money for them to consider matching it, and at that point you may as well take job offer. Because of the insane turnover, there's no institutional knowledge. Every time they send you out on a job, you have no instructions, you basically have to figure everything out yourself. Don't expect any training.

Pros

Some good people working there.

Cons

During my time at Tridon, the only priorities were pushing out new org-charts, patting themselves on the corporate back and pretending to run a fortune 500 company. This meant not training technicians, improving things for employees or making any effort to retain anyone below middle management. In fact, lowly employees were not worthy of an audience with HR and were actively ignored. It took months to get a cagey response from anyone about anything. They ignored agreements made with their employees. It was also clear that lower management was stretched thin and put under incredible pressure by the bloated structure above them, with their turn-over being just as bad as those they managed. People explicitly hired for one position were thrown into another under the guise of "gaining experience", even if they didn't consent. So it's no wonder people were always looking for a way out. And at any given work site, the name Tridon was a joke. There were always embarrassing mistakes being made by one person or another because they couldn't retain competent people or properly train them. Thankful every day that my time with this dysfunctional "company" is far behind me.
