Overwork and meetings

Pros

Ability to work from home

Cons

Everything else. Crappy and high cost health insurance, sitting in meetings literally all day, forced to do your actual work outside of 8-5 because of said meetings, everyone is overworked and stressed out but leadership continues to ask for more from already burnt out and overworked staff. Constant threat of layoffs loom in the ethers, so no one wants to complain and highlight themselves as a target. The pay will seem worth it at first, but your hourly rate will not be much once you account for hours worked (not to mention the physical and mental health impacts of this culture of overwork).
