Worst place I ever worked - Quit in less than a month

* Out at 5 everyday. * Casual dress during the summer. * K-cup machine and k-cups provided.
Cons
* Everything else. * Hostile work environment: Very few people are nice to each other. Everyone talks about everyone. The CAO likes to discipline in the middle of the floor so everyone hears. * EXTREME Micromanagement: CAO requires daily status emails with what you have left on your plate for the next day so she can reassign work as she sees fit. * No professional courtesy: CAO will ask you about your coworkers instead of going to them directly. She will CC your coworkers when she has an issue with you. * No freedom. There are "spies" within. If you are 1 minute late, if you are in the bathroom "too long", if you take an extra minute for lunch, if you use your cell phone, the "spies" will report to the CAO who will then send an email "reminder" to everyone about the issue. * You are not allowed to use your cell or go on any website that is not directly related to your job. For example, you cannot go on myfitnesspal.com to quickly log your snack. The site is blocked because it is in the "health" category. * HORRIBLE TRAINING. You are trained by 4 different people, each of whom do things slightly differently. Before you are really comfortable with the process, they pile your desk with work. You are either so bored you want to die or so overwhelmed you can't breathe. No in-between. * SO MUCH PAPER!!! They print EVERYTHING. Multiple copies of contracts (even to keep in the file as a "place holder" which will later be tossed), e-mails, spreadsheets, everything. It is all backed up online daily. They also have Docusign, so they COULD operate paperless, but the CEO "likes the way paper feels" so they continue to kill a tree a day. * Worst filing system I've ever seen. Over a decade as an admin. I've worked in quite a few companies. Never seen anything this bad. * No room for growth. The job you were hired for is the job you will always have.
