Pros

You can quit and spare yourself the stress and lost career time

Cons

Cult like company culture, poor management and ownership, horrible moral , high turnover , and little to no opportunity for professional growth. Couple all this with horrible financials over the past few years , and you have a perfect storm of miserable working conditions. Management and ownership treat all employees as disposable assets, and uses them up, to spit them out. The CEO, CFO and COO are more concerned with their ego than growing the company responsibly. The entire operations team manages with intimidation and good ol boy mentality. If you don’t feed their egos and sacrifice morals , and professionalism you will not have a job , let alone advance. Applicants beware , this company is a nightmare to work for.

Management is killing the company structure. You used to love coming to work to work hard and accomplish your job. Now it has become a dreadful place to be and work

Pros

Must be a goo kiss up. If you enjoy chaotic unorganized environment, nepotism and NO human resources you should work here. Social skills are key- it doesn't matter if you have no experience or the most in the field you want to go into. What matters is if you suck up to the higher ups who also have zero on the job experience. You could be a secretary with a GED and be promoted to Accounting Exec even if you've never taken a college math class or done accounting before, if you brown nose enough.

Cons

This had to be the worst and most unprofessional work environment I've ever experienced. The Education team has no idea what they are doing because management has no experience in education-no degrees or work experience. Management is chaotic and disorganized. When you work with a boss, you want them to be able to lead from experience and learn from them- not the other way around. TRIO does not go by sound learning practices nor abides by them so they always make false promises and under deliver to clients. There is no path to furthering your career either because opportunities are given to those through nepotism based on personal emotions, plus there is no HR. I was told once by a director that they didn't care about my work ergonomics or environment. If you get laid off you don't get severance or pto payout. This place was so horrible-avoid at all costs.
