Pros

Flexible starting hours but you still have to work 8 hours in the office Good people (minus management)

Cons

The owners are two of the most irrational decision makers I’ve encountered in my career. Everything is emotional - performance doesn’t matter. If they find a reason to not like you (for example, you like cheese in your sandwich and they don’t), you’d better update your resume and start looking for another job. Turnover in staff is unreal. In my tenure there, only 10% of the staff were the same as when I started. The product is outdated and not easy to measure, making it undesirable to customers. Not to mention, unreliable - how many times does a digital unit have to go down before someone will replace it with something better? The only decent networks are campus and cannabis. The salon network has been hemorrhaging for years but management is too proud to cut their losses. Instead they will hire, and fire to their liking, pointing the finger at staff when astronomical budgets are not achieved. Oh, and everyone knows the good reviews were only written it was mandated internally. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

AWFUL PLACE TO WORK - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Pros

Flexible hours on certain occasions

Cons

Warning: Do NOT work here.. awful place to work. Where do I begin: CEO pushes people out to the point of having a burnout, salaries are absolutely horrendous (only Sales make a decent salary), you will work hard for a low salary its a joke there and no salary equity, they force their employees into different positions when it suits them (when they want to move other employees in their place). The CEO is so cheap and he is a nightmare - He wont ever pay his employees a decent salary, he is like a dictator, no appreciation for the hard work of his employees, Some VPs (the ones that have been there for a very long time) are mysogynistic, arrogant and show no respect, CEO uses culture of fear and silence to control employees, They are only nice to you when they need you for something or are using you, And all the positive reviews are totally FAKE!! Everyone in the company knows that the Marketing department writes all the positive ones to counteract all the negative ones!! HR department is just a puppet to the CEO.. they dont do anything for employees, its all to help the CEO and nothing more, they turn a blind eye to everything they see

Don't quit your day job...

Pros

The office is located in a really beautiful courtyard and the rooftop patio is a great place to escape from Rouge's toxic corporate culture.

Cons

Patience, training and investing in their employees are three things that Rouge isn't particularly good at and turnover seems to be an issue across the board. There are many reasons for this but the problem, it seems, starts at the top and leaks downward. The President leaves much to be desired - a leader lacking any real leadership qualities. For all of the claims about just how important corporate culture is at Rouge the Rouge way of doing things amounts to little more than mandatory pre-work social time, the occasional awkward interrogation around the lunch table (because who doesn't want to field questions from management about job performance in front of their peers?) and musical chairs (heaven forbid you sit in the same seat twice in a row). El Presidente doesn't even try to hide the fact that he thinks of his employees as little more than replaceable parts. So far as this creaton is concerned, the absence of a Human Resources department means that he can treat people as he pleases (usually with a healthy dose of disrespect).
