Nothing I can remember about working here was memorable.

Cons

Revolving door for employees. I can name multiple people who I was working here that quit because of management. Crappy culture. Many times I felt uncomfortable with the way "someone" would speak to me.

Very, very true. No search firm can afford to keep a recruiter if they can't make one placement in a six month period. We gave this "experienced recruiter" a chance to start a division in their field of expertise, but after six months with no placements we had to pull the plug. The Labor Board determines whether an ex employee is eligible for unemployment not us. If you think you are entitled to a salary just for showing up, please don't apply to our firm.

Leaving shouldn't make you subject to harrassment

Great learning experience (as long as you are in management's good graces.)

Cons

Some employees at Truex were fired (and most of them have stable recruiting careers). But some left because they found other opportunities or simply didn't want to be at Truex anymore. Unfortunately, instead of management being supportive of them, these people became the enemy, and were defamed to both current employees and clients. (which is illegal)

You are absolutely right. Ex-employees who violate Trade Secrets laws or make defamatory or libelous statements become adversaries, or enemies as you call them. Law suits are not harassment they are the way that civilized people settle legal disputes. We will never hesitate to protect our reputation or our trade secrets through proper legal avenues. And the proof is that we were awarded a $50K judgement against you, which you haven't paid.

The company posts false job openings to attract candidates. Unethical to say the least.

We are extremely ethical however we do occasionally make a bad hire just like every other company. I wish we could predict who has the prerequisite skills to succeed 100% of the time, but we can't. Instead of becoming a victim and "getting even"with others for their failures, we encourage candidates (and ex-employees) to say "okay, I now know that my last job wasn't my metier, let's find out what is". We wish you well in your search.
