Pros
Store discount, seeing the new merchandise arriving in store, nice people to work with and good manager, short hour shifts, usually nice customers.
Cons
Not enough pay for amount of work. Sales person will help unload weekly truck, put out merchandise out on sales floor, clean restrooms and sales floor, build displays, all while assisting and ringing up sales on register. In five to six hour shift you only get a ten minute break. You never stop moving. If you get a 10 cent pay increase, you will wait at least a few months before you see in pay. If key holder, must balance cash registers, make deposits, open and close store while making a few cents more then sales clerks. Run from this place fast.
