Be very careful around the "friendly" managers/supervisors

Pros

Working with the providers to get them paid what was owed was very satisfying.

Cons

The place is a rumor mill full of backstabbing snakes, and, astonishingly, the management/supervisors tap into and act on the malicious rumors that are spread without any further, real, evidence! . This is vile.

Pros

Great reputation, fitness center, remote work. Pleasure working alongside smart, passionate healthcare professionals.

Cons

I had high hopes for working here and was micromanaged on a team with high turnover and little camaraderie. This was frustrating because the company has great values and culture. However, if your manager doesn't embrace it, it doesn't matter. Career opportunities are limited depending on a department.

There are some truly fantastic people at this company, and given the latest quality ratings, THP is the best in the country at what they do. Tufts does a fantastic job supporting their employees with after work programs.

Cons

Working at Tufts is like being back in high school. If you're one of the cool kids, it's the best time of your life. If not, you can't wait to get out. Taking the image a step further, their HR department is like the cartoonishly subservient lackey of the football team; they can't do enough for you if you are one of the favored, they are rude to and dismissive of everyone else. And no matter what anyone tells you, this is a top down driven organization. Managers and supervisors give the mandate, workers follow. People who ask questions are barely tolerated. People who ask "why" are made examples of.
