      We are mission driven with a clear goal. We are trusted to do the right thing. We are empowered to make decisions within our teams. We are a largely remote team, with an office base where we meet at least once a month.

      Inter team communications can be weak at times.

      Pros

      - Empowerment from the very top to everyone in the business - everyone can, and should, make a real difference every day - Important, challenging and motivating mission to improve the finance industry and impact socially responsible investment - Small, nimble and fast-moving - we make decisions quickly and aren't afraid to try new things or make the big calls - Working with some of the biggest firms in the industry in the world - A real collaborative, team-like culture where everybody feels included and has an equal voice at the table

      Cons

      - It is challenging (but rewarding) to disrupt an archaic industry - it can be frustrating at times, but great to see momentum shifting - You have to be prepared to work hard, roll sleeves up and dig in with whatever is needed - there's no job to big or small for anyone. We do whatever is needed to get a job done, win a contract or grow the business - Start-up life isn't for everyone: the level of empowerment and nimbleness comes with a degree of chaos and direction-changing. In a bigger company, things move slowly and disruption happens rarely. If you find the idea of a start-up energising, this is a great place to work.
