Before the pandemic they had NO TRUST in the employee to work remotely. Seems like the current context has forced them to change, how funny. Not willingly so, that I can guarantee. Work is repetitive and there's not much room to discuss actual engineering and solutions. Some designers have no clue what they're doing when it comes to the web. They come up with non feasible mockups, project managers arrange everything with the clients and good luck for devs to implement that in the surreal timeframe they will give you. They charged employees for cheap snacks that could easily be offered for free. They claim to have games in the office, but you'll likely never touch them because you'll be overworked. And finally a couple of Francophones with whom I worked would make very subtle comments in French with one another so that I wouldn't understand what they were saying. Disrespectful to say the least. Seems like the only interesting project going on is Star Citizen. The rest is all tech-debt or short-lived in the case of the other few interesting ones.
