I was part of a hiring class of 4 other account coordinators and they were the only positive aside from unlimited PTO.

Cons

They do not train or set you up for success. Even if you’re adaptable and can adapt to different management styles, some of the management styles are horrific and don’t push you in the right way. I felt like they did not value me at all. Promotions are few and far between and they don’t have any more money to offer. It can help get you in the door at other PR firms, but I do think the client teams you’re on effect your career trajectory. The same people get praised over and over and it feels competitive rather than an environment in which you lift each other up. It was toxic.

Sweet but nerdy outdoor people

Cons

They literally laid off a woman on maternity leave. Not sure how you can do that and still have a clear conscience.

The Turner team are outstanding at what they do but they are very culture driven.

Cons

If you do not share in their culture of outdoors, you will have a hard time working here.
