Pros

The most satisfying aspect to this job was the clients. I learned a great deal of skills while working there.

Cons

Management lacks morale. A number of indiscreet activities were made known to HR by more than one employee and still no change. If you're a beautiful woman expect to be inappropriately noticed by the head male manager. Everyone is aware of inappropriate activities among male and female management but no one will address it. I also showed proof of corrupt behavior to HR still no change. Many have transferred or quit as a result. I decided to find another job also. I have often witnessed management talk down to employees openly, and the male manager he often uses negative commentary towards white counterparts indicating he will assist blacks over helping whites. Derogatory comments are made behind the scenes in groups with black people. Myself being present.(by the way I too am black)

Pros

Supportive Co-Workers that didn't make me feel alone in my struggle.

Cons

The supervisor at the Elk Grove FIT office essentially bullied me out of the job. They treated many of the employees unfairly and with little dignity. They did not provide support and expected the staff under them to do the supervisor's work. I went to the program director, regional director and HR for my concerns but it seemed like favoritism and turning a blind eye is ingrained in the professional culture at this location.
