      Great people, feel slick a small intimate company

      Management folk are insecure and miserable people. It's more important to them to prove their superiority and authority than to be a good leader and maintain a positive working environment.

      Working at Tofurky is genuinely rewarding. The mission is real—not just a slogan—and it shows up in day-to-day decisions around sustainability, food quality, and how people are treated. Leadership is approachable and transparent, and there’s a strong sense that everyone’s input matters, whether you’re on the production floor or in the office. The company encourages ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration across teams. Hood River is also an incredible place to live and work if you enjoy the outdoors and a close-knit community.

      Cons

      Like many purpose-driven companies, Tofurky moves fast and expects flexibility. Change is constant, which can be challenging for people who prefer very rigid structures or slow decision-making.
