Pros

Wellness off on the last Friday of the month

Cons

Multiple rounds of layoffs Micromanagement at every level Incompetent managers and senior leadership Credit grabbing and favouritism The ceo and us team would do multiple trips to India but would not pay bonus to employees citing monetary issues. Cost cutting everywhere even in increments and employee welfare. Huge amount of politics India team is expected to work round the clock without proper compensated. Mismatched skills and role at every level. Example : Engineering manager works as senior director. CEO does not trust and one from India to be in his leadership team.

Pros

Work from home which is going to end soon. Last Friday off, I hope atleast it does not go away soon.

Cons

I've had the misfortune of working at here, and I can confidently say it's been one of the most stressful and demotivating experiences of my career. The leadership team is clueless about how to manage people or prioritize tasks. They're only concerned with meeting unrealistic targets and making themselves look good to the higher-ups. This trickles down to the rest of the team, creating a culture of constant pressure and anxiety. No help from managers. Just blame each other and take credits at right time. Micromanagement is rampant here. Managers breathe down your neck, questioning every decision and second-guessing your work. They don't trust employees to do their jobs, and it shows in the way they constantly interfere and undermine our autonomy. The company claims to value "innovation" and "creativity," but they don't as micromanagement waste most of the energy and does not help in getting things done smartly. Manager questions every step and wants to understand by using AI tools, still he does not get a bit. Lastly comes to developers to make him understand why certain things are that way in the code. Managers are non technical that adds up to the chaos. The new CTO is highly micromanaging and keeps asking for documentation of everything even the old stack and architecture. This takes up most of the productive time in dealing with all of them. Burnout is a real concern here. Employees are expected to work long hours without adequate resources or support. The turnover rate is ridiculously high. If you value your mental health and want to work in a company that actually cares about its employees, stay far away from this company. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Pros

Turvo is a fantastic place to work! The company is full of talented and passionate people who are committed to upgrading and improving our platform. The leadership team is supportive, transparent, and truly values employee input. This is a fun and challenging position with plenty of opportunity to grow and make a meaningful impact. The culture is one of teamwork and innovation, and it’s exciting to be part of a company that is transforming the industry.

Cons

The work can be demanding at times, as we navigate various challenges and manage multiple competing priorities. However, these experiences provide valuable opportunities for growth, problem-solving, and collaboration within the team. No job is perfect but Turvo is one of the best places I have worked!

Pros

They have last friday of the month off as wellness friday.

Cons

Under CEO and CTO, layoffs have become a pattern — multiple rounds over the last two years with no clear strategy to stop them. Leadership repeatedly travels to India to give false reassurances about stability, only to cut more jobs weeks later. The process is cold and inhumane — long-term employees are dismissed abruptly, without recognition or respect. With so many people gone, client support and delivery have taken a major hit, damaging relationships and trust. Turvo is losing long term customers. Remaining employees are expected to pick up the slack, leading to burnout and high attrition. Overall culture has collapsed — fear, mistrust, and constant uncertainty define the workplace.

Pros

Wellness day Work from home

Cons

1. Overwhelming Workload – The relentless workload leaves employees exhausted, with no regard for work-life balance. Unrealistic deadlines and constant pressure create a stressful environment where burnout is inevitable. 2. Terrible Management Decisions – The leadership has completely destroyed the once-thriving company culture that existed before 2022. Constant, unpredictable changes make it impossible to plan ahead. Teams are forced to work tirelessly for months on high-priority projects, only to receive a casual email informing them that the project has been scrapped—wasting efforts without any accountability from leadership. 3. Zero Empathy for Employees – Employees are treated as mere resources rather than human beings. Even if someone is on sick leave, hospitalized, or facing personal emergencies, they are still expected to attend meetings and respond to calls, showing a complete lack of basic empathy from management. 4. Toxic Micromanagement by New Managers – The new wave of managers has made the workplace unbearable. They micromanage every minor task, have zero trust in developers, and make the work environment suffocating. They eagerly take credit for developers’ hard work when things go well but are just as quick to shift blame onto them when anything goes wrong. 5. One-Dimensional Visibility: Only Customer Support Matters – The company’s obsession with being "customer-focused" has translated into one thing—customer support taking all the visibility and recognition. Meanwhile, the teams working behind the scenes, solving critical problems, and driving innovation are completely ignored. 6. A Micromanaging CTO Who Adds to the Chaos – The new CTO has only made things worse. Instead of driving real technical leadership, they have resorted to micromanaging every little detail, creating additional layers of frustration and bureaucracy that hinder productivity. 7. Profits at the Cost of Employees – The company’s idea of achieving profitability is ruthless—laying off employees right after they’ve successfully completed high-stakes, critical projects. There’s no loyalty, no recognition, just cold, calculated decisions that leave employees feeling used and discarded.
