Pros

Some flexibility in schedule. Work from home.

Cons

Horrible management. They have no business model, poor leadership skills, and they don’t believe in raises until after you’ve been doing extra work. They’ll assign extra tasks without extra compensation. The salary is Pennies on the dollar, and there are NO benefits at all. Additionally, the software used is out of date and doesn’t have the functionality to be effective, and employees have to work harder instead of smarter. There’s very little PTO, and managers will guilt trip you when you try to use it. There are no paid holidays. They also tend to hire women they perceive to be weak, and the male directors seem to be quite misogynistic, wanting to control the subordinate women in the company. They give one person the responsibilities of 3-4 people, and they manipulate and gaslight workers quite often. They pin employees against each other, disinvite team members from full team meetings with no reason behind it, log into your account while you’re working and change your password or delete your information, and they also micromanage your time, tracking your laptop with software and wanting to know exactly what gets done each hour of the day. The managers provide no positive reinforcement or rewards for a job well done, and there’s no company culture whatsoever. They’re also very awkward, there’s no HR representative to speak to if you have a grievance, and they take everything personally because they can’t separate business from personal. They expect all employees to be 1000% committed to the company and be willing to work extra hours for no extra pay. It’s extremely disorganized, you’ll feel burnt out and defeated even just a few months in, and it isn’t worth the hassle. There are definitely better companies with remote work positions that will actually treat you like you matter. The managers here will treat you like a robot whose only purpose in life is to make them money. They also don’t have backgrounds in education, which shows that it’s just a money making scheme and not something they actually studied or have a passion for. They overcharge the clients and underpay the tutors just to line their own pockets. I would not recommend working here.
