Pros

Talented people work there even though they aren't being utilized well.

Cons

Such a bad place to work. They make it very clear everyone is disposable by the way they lay people off and never address it with the rest of the team; people just stop showing up one day. All the work produced there was forced into being low quality and uncreative by constantly rushing and not thinking through any kind of strategy. Zero company culture, everyone there is having a bad time and actively looking for other work. Employees are never given the tools to be able to do their jobs effectively but asked to execute anyway: months of work was regularly thrown away because of poor insight from upper management. Working here was genuinely counter-productive for my career.

Pros

The people, it's like the military everyone is close because they are all going through something traumatic together.

Cons

Working here is really tough because there's no clear plan. You often end up doing work that you have to redo later because plans changed, and no one told you. There aren't real bosses here to guide you. People talk a lot to sound important, but they don't actually help you understand what you should be doing. If you try to quit, they make you leave right away. You can't even say goodbye to your coworkers unless you're leaving to start your own business. They get mad if they aren't your last job ever. People get fired a lot, and the weird part is that they don't tell anyone. Even if someone on your team gets fired, you won't know. They just disappear. The place also feels fake-nice. They make you do "random acts of kindness," but it doesn't feel genuine. They say "we're like a family" but it doesn't feel that way. Maybe years ago when they used to do more client work it was a good place to work where you could learn and working on compelling projects, but now they are dead. To take a job here will be the worst thing you can do for your career.
