A startup, but with less growing pains

Pros

I've worked at 40+ year-old companies, as well as ~5-10 year-old (at the time) startups. Happify combines the best of both worlds - a small-company feel with passionate, mission-driven teams without a constant fear of losing your job. Happify as a whole has been very well-received by employers and consumers for years, and the Mental Health DTx industry is new, exciting, and impactful given the current situation with COVID. The work itself is oftentimes challenging as DTx is such a new industry - there is not a "standard" process for what we do, particularly as it relates to prescription products. While we occasionally have longer days leading up to an important deadline, there's still a strong sense of camaraderie through completion. As a whole, the company appreciate and act on employees' input - weekly company-wide meetings, frequent pulse surveys, established a Culture Committee to drive values & inclusivity, regular "fun" events, dedicated no-meeting blocks, and early release Fridays to name a few.

Cons

Occasional long days leading up to important deadlines. Still has some file organization/document management growing pains. Too many meetings, though we're actively trying to find alternatives.

Great Place to Work

Pros

The employees and management team are a highly evolved group. I've never worked somewhere that has such a healthy way of working. There is a very little ego which has been so refreshing. All ideas are welcome. Real sense of being part of a team. Employees are well cared for between pay, early release Fridays, and a genuine concern for employee well being.

Cons

The workload can be intense at times but I'm never bored. :)

Pros

The people who worked at Twill are mission driven and wonderful.

Cons

Leadership team is very weak. Lacking clear direction, go-to-market strategy and constant pivots without thorough risk analysis. People are burnt out, unhappy with leadership, but stay because people are nice. A great place to learn what not to do. A lot of smoke and mirrors.
