Amazing benefits and pay, a lot of different types of work available from conveyor to industrial alignment and maintenance in all manner of work environments.
Cons
Travel is a must if you don’t live on the coast, since there isn’t enough union work to keep everyone busy, let alone a full time position in a shop or mill. You pretty much have to be ok with working shut downs, which gets old for some.
