Pros

None at all!! Just stay away!!

Cons

- The CEOs are horrible, selfish, egocentric people. - Fake positive Glassdoor reviews being posted daily - No culture or ethics - People fired or resigning every day. - Micromanagement - No training or education - People are constantly being set up to fail - Constant blaming and finger pointing

We understand that this review was written by a single disgruntled individual who is posting multiple reviews under different aliases. This is unfortunate, but also very serious because this review makes false statements and has been flagged as inappropriate by several individuals. The contents of this review is offensive to the employees and supporters of UENI. We consider false information in the public domain to be very serious, and we are pursuing the author(s) of this review legally for libel. We always welcome challenges and criticism, but we will not tolerate lies and malicious attacks.

Great before you join, bad when you are there!

Pros

- smart and talented founders who work extremely hard - good at fundraising, cash is not an issue at the moment - international, friendly and smart co-workers, they make your life at the firm fun - great at selling you the vision and company before you join

Cons

- company culture exists on paper, but is not brought to life by the founders - the real culture is: fingerpointing, micromanagement, favoritism, founders can turn on you very fast - high turnover that could have been avoided if the talent was better managed - unless you are in the "inner circle", you will not enjoy working here - a whole department was made redundant, no respect for you as a human - you have the feeling that staff are treated as numbers and not as real people - once you are out of favour, the founders will push you out of the door - once you join, it's completely different than what you were told

We are very sorry if you were a part of the department that was made redundant. It wasn’t an easy decision for us and we did everything to the best of our abilities to help everyone that was a part of the team. We are working hard to change some of the cons that you mentioned, making sure that environment and team spirit improves overall. We are always available to discuss whatever issues may arise and we always hear what our (former) employees have to say, so don't hesitate to contact us if need be. Ana Oliveira (Head of Talent)

Pros

The 2017 UENI was a great place to work in. Everyone helped each other, the teams were managed by their managers rather than by whoever decided to manage the teams.

Cons

-founders have no respect for the employees as a human - they are all just a number and they can all be replaced according to them - late pays -lots of promises no actions -founders never appreciate the good work you have done. -it is a sinking ship.. i have said the sales will be shut and it happened a month later, best believe the company will also shut down unless the founders start investing time into their staff and trust their expertise a bit more.
