      Management that don't look after the workforce

      meeting new and varied people

      Cons

      Some employees end up in the hospital not only through working there but also when admitted due to stresses at work. Management/HR aren't interested in the workforce they only want statistics to look good.

      Local workplace, good team of staff on my ward

      Cons

      Poor management, lack of communication between management and staff when changes are made. No consultation about new initiatives. We had a new computerised notes system for the patients. It was rushed out and wasn't working properly. It has since been updated but no one thought to ask the staff who would actually be using them, what they felt necessary to include or its layout and functionality. Changes to working practice are made without consultation and often have to be changed due to their poor creation and implementation.
