Pros

1. If you are good at licking then you are set in position. 2. The student quality is very low. Most of the time you can enter the class without any preparation. 3. You can leave the job anytime you want

Cons

1. They treat one person in the university as a living god. Be prepared to lick his leg. 2. Too much nepotism. You will find that all the positions in the university are held by members of the special family. 3. There is two salary structure at the university. If you are from posh universities you will have the better one 32k otherwise 30k. 4. You have to answer the higher authority if students fail in your course. Better start giving marks for no reason. 5. Other faculty members (most of the senior faculty members) are here because either they are retired from public universities or they have no skills. You will be astonished to find the topics in the faculty room. 6. If some higher authority starts a speech better have a short nap. It will last for at least two hours. 7. You have to ensure biometric attendance to ensure 6 hours of the office. 8. They will treat you like garment workers. If you leave before six-hour even if five hours fifty-nine minutes they will cut the salary of one day. You have to beg to register to explain your reason or mistake. 9. On occasions like the arrival of the special person or fest, you have to be on campus for 13 hours or more. 10. In the probation period (six months) you will not get any sick/ casual leave. 11. They will say you will receive payment for invigilation, exam marking or extra credit. But in reality, the payment will arrive after two years. So if you leave in two years you will not get any money. 12. They will try to lure you saying that they receive seven to eight bonus in the year. But you will not receive them if you stay less then one year. 13. You will have extra responsibility assigned by the head.

Pros

Offers employment to new graduates. Good for them who want to work temporarily before switching to another job/ study abroad.

Cons

Not so much opportunity to conduct research. Laboratory facilities are minimum. Employees are relatively less motivated to perform at their best.
