- Focus is too much on shareholder payback and quick wins - Chaotic due to lack of work planning - Staff are pushed very hard, but for average reward - Appalling management of staff safety during COVID pandemic, putting employees in very difficult, unsafe and uncomfortable situations - Company is obsessed with appearing to have a process for everything, but in actuality have no intention of following them - Senior management can be very dismissive of those reporting to them - Little attempt to look after staff during their tenure, or to even counter-offer when they hand in their notice

I worked for UK cloud for 2 months. In that time I had no induction to the company, team or product. I saw no evidence of development leadership in that time. I found the majority of my ‘team mates’ quite hostile and unwelcoming. No age / sex / ethnicity diversity .. No breakout areas. Tiny filthy kitchen. No fun. No passion. Company of two halves dev vs rest of business. Rest of business are great, engaging, progressive and dynamic …. Development seems to be stunted and stagnant.
