Pros

- very small and casual working environment, office is really quiet as oftentimes most folks are traveling on business - ny is a satellite office to dallas, so most of the senior leadership is based in dallas, and not typically in the office - hours are the most reasonable i've experienced in the ad world - 9:30-5:30 most days - office pretty much clears out by 6/6:30 every night - decent benefits since it's part of the omnicom network - old-school offices, so you can easily find privacy if you want it - people are really friendly and nice, familial environment - main client is hasbro, so you get to work on toys and games, which can be a really fun and relatable category to work on - everyone in the agency gets macbook pros to work on, so it's easily to work remotely - never feel like you're being "watched" - people come and go as they please - you're treated like adults and people expect that you're handling the job

Cons

- the office is old/drab/boring - no thought/strategic leadership coming out of the agency. it is a tv executing machine, and that's about it. - no real training on proper account management/leadership - no career development/track, unless you just enjoy executing new tv spots year after year - being a small agency with essentially one client, you are at their mercy and have very little clout or foundation to stand on when providing recommendations to client - they essentially dictate to us what they want and we execute it - no prospects for new business and therefore, no growth (or raises) - "this is how it's been, and how it is" mentality - no proactivity or initiative shown - teams are lean, so folks are stretched across multiple brands and projects, and not given the time or ability to really think strategically or creatively about the brands - lack of leadership presence in the office makes it difficult to keep people motivated to work hard - midtown east location

Then DDB NY took over direct management and it was all down hill from there....
