Pros

The admin staff. Fun place to work with the group that was there at the time. Not because of management but because we all stuck together and made it fun. We supported each other.

Cons

This is one of those "good ole boy company's" where they still believe the women's place is behind the desk, looking pretty. They are to obey and if they have an opinion they may be called into the board room facing all the highly compensated Key players to be ridiculed. You have to have some tough skin to work there. The approach is why did you do it, not- did you do it. The owner can disrespects anyone in his path and in front of anyone, even for the clothes they wear. He often pranced his trophy wife around the office showing the ladies how a woman should look (although she was very nice). The work load is almost too much to ever stay on top of. The only man respected there is now retired (RF). No one felt job security. However, if he did like you, you had it made and it was very apparent to others. The staff would go into panic mode if you were one minute late getting in. To this day, I still get anxiety if I'm running late.

Pros

Less than 5 people were helpful and actually cared about the employees.

Cons

You won’t be treated fairly unless you’re family. Not only do family members take priority but they also take credit for other peoples work. If a family member makes a mistake, others will get the blame. One time, the owner got in my face, yelled, and threw paper at me all because he didn’t want to blame the family member. There is no true HR. She doesn’t know what she’s doing and shows employee preference plus gets involved in office politics. They also have skeletons in their closet they don’t want anyone to know about.

Pros

About the only good thing were the support office staff. They were friendly and proficient but didn't last very long. If I had payed closer attention at how scared they were at a meeting I saw on day one I would have been for warned about the future.

Cons

They treat employees like slaves! You are screamed at, lied too, put in horrible circumstances out of your control and expected with no authority to improve them! They hire sub standard subs who bid the jobs strictly on price without any reguard to ability! They tell you that you can come home every month, but won't let you leave for months and months on end! If you get hurt you will be fired! The amount of repetitious paper work is staggering. They don't supply their superintendents with an onsite office to either do their work or get out of the elements and expect them to suffer in sub freezing weather 10-12 hours a day for months on end! Just a horrific company to work for! Owners claim to management style was used to threaten you on day one with getting fired if he caught you ever sitting down! What a wonderful man...
