Pros

Remote Work 6% 401k match w/ immediate vesting 10 Days of additional COVID PTO if you get sick 1 Day of Vaccine Reaction PTO 4 hours Volunteering Time Off Health benefits pay 100% after deductible Company puts money into employee HSAs at the beginning of each year Dedicated to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: Inclusion Council and 4 Employee Resource Groups Work/Life balance is actually valued Bi-Annual Employee Engagement survey that actually affects real change in the company

Cons

Few women in upper management/C-Suite (but that's growing exponentially,) the company is in several time zones, so meetings can be kind of late in the day, base salary isn't as competitive as it could be (but again, it's actively being worked on)

Pros

It has been amazing to be join this company after leaving a very toxic environment. This company cares about people. They show it in so many ways. Leadership is transparent, accessible, and kind. The benefits are outstanding and so beyond my previous company. The company is growing and our team members are earning promo opportunities. Yearly bonuses, above and bonuses, performance raises. And the little things that make a difference- today I got a swag bag out of the blue. A month ago the most comfy laptop tray arrived randomly. As we all adjust to remote work, the level of communication and making sure we all feel connected is amazing! I am never an island. My peers are genuine and amazing. Commitment to diversity is outstanding and pretty beautiful. Don't walk....Run to us!

Cons

Hard to say. We aren't perfect but so much good that its easy to dismiss the things that aren't. Maybe remove some manual processes.

Pros

Good pay Clear career path

Cons

Opaque management team (i.e. opposite of transparent) Will try to get as much out of you as possible while trusting you as little as possible Will straight-up lie to any of their employees (happened many times to many different people/groups) Ignores concerns from employees

USAble Life Response

The only way to respond is to first apologize and own it. Clearly something happened that made you feel like you were lied to and that's not ok. The organization would never condone that behavior. To add context, in January of 2022, USAL acquired LifeMap from Cambia Health in Portland. It’s a huge undertaking to integrate a company and it wasn't without some growing pains. We honored our commitment to keep all the LifeMap employees, but some positions did not exist at USAL creating some uncertainty. The majority of the LifeMap employees are happily still with us today. Sadly, there were a few that chose to move on. Best of luck to you in your career!
