Exposure to novel scientific research invented by the distinguished faculty of the University of Southern California.
Cons
Most of the work done as a technology licensing intern is limited to reading patents or documentation related to scientific inventions, and summarizing information in template-based reports. Interns should be involved in other aspects of the technology licensing operations as well to gain a comprehensive experience in this field.
There are a lot of good people who work here, but their skills are not valued or respected by leadership.
Cons
The current E.D. shouldn't be in this job. The tone is always negative and critical, and it's 'my way or the highway,' even on ridiculous, trivial things. There is also no effort to mentor staff.
