Pros

laid back working style, no competition, salary raise based on time in company, not performance. yes, you will get paid the same even you do the minimum.

Cons

discouraging policies, HOD has nothing to do with the pay/raise of the employee, just do the minimum. 1 year long probation 0 benefits during probation 3 months notice of resignation (permanent and probationer) benefits are so minor after probation(unless you got kids that want to study here) all other rules that benefits the company are same for probationer(eg 3 months notice of resignation) no nego salary pay grade all employee with same qualification are paid the same regardless of the work scope and market price
