Difficult for an experienced guy to fit in, takes a lot of effort and time to learn the in-house development stack. Not very much learning after 3+ years of working there. You wouldn't get high increments based on just good performance, its usual to be considered just an average guy in terms of increments. Your may get good at system design while working here, but wouldn't get the chance to work at modern tech frameworks.

For me, the major issues were lack of Work Life Balance and Toxicity of seniors. They do not care whether you are working till late nights 1am 2am, They just want get things done quickly no matter what it takes, which created a burnout situation for me. My brain condition was totally disturbed, because I was working like 12-14 Hours. Plus there is no special learning, because the project is legacy, tools and tech stack are oudated. You will hardly find time for learning due to workload and complexity of system. Some seniors are harsh, they sometimes forget, how they should behave with juniors...either in front of team / in personal chats.
