Pros

Most of my co-workers were great, especially in my department; we stuck together. PTO was good.

Cons

My co-workers in my department hated working there because of the way we were treated by upper management. We were spied on, shamed, threatened with being fired for talking to each other or doing college homework during down time. Upper management treated us like we were dumb and untrustworthy. I'm surprised they didn't make a time-out corner for us "bad kids" of the company. Upper management also liked to bully and micromanage everyone. The CFO was a Tyrant. Certain employees were favored over others. The employees who blindingly followed upper management without question, the "yes" men (and women) were viewed as competent, even if they weren't. If you were one of the "bad kids" that had ideas and a mind of your own, you were viewed as incompetent, no matter how competent and intelligent you were. No room for advancement. Any "praise" we were given was a little bandaid in an attempt to placate us and ignore the low morale.

Workplace bullying by upper management!

Pros

The talent and degrees that many of the employees possess, the PTO time is decent when you can actually use it.

Cons

As in the previous review, I can agree 100% that this company needs to not only talk the talk but walk the walk with its own employees. For a company that markets themselves as a health and wellness company, upper management are complete hypocrites. The bullying by upper management is to the extreme...to the point where several employees have consulted with legal representation and have had to take leave due to medical and mental health issues caused by this. They want you to put "suggestions" in the suggestion box, but if you do, upper management will send out a company wide "you should know" newsletter and let everyone know why every suggestion is being shot down. Several employees/management also drink the kool-aid of upper management, so beware...there is no room for advancement unless you wear a short skirt and have no degree in what you are being hired to do. Oh, and if you do start working there and leave, don't try to go to a client company. You are unable to do that for a year (and will get threatened with a lawsuit) but, yet, it's okay for upper management to hire individuals from these same client companies...hypocrisy at its finest.

Workplace bullying at its best.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits comparable to any other company. I liked my co-workers. They were very talented and caring individuals, but none of them were happy working there.

Cons

A hypocritical company that sells services taking care of employees when they don't take care of their own. Supervisors use a fear-based style of management that causes good employees to leave. They say they are open to new ideas, but are easily offended and respond defensively when ideas are presented. Employees are sometimes even reprimanded for presenting new ideas. There's very little opportunity for advancement or career development. The micromanaging, horrible decision-making (apparently not based on any business sense at all) and illegal behavior (threatening to terminate employees for talking to each other) prevent the company from retaining talent and growing. The worst thing about this company is the bullying by management. I would not allow any of my friends to work for this company.
