Pros

Please stay away if you think that this a valid corporation. The people are so nice but the job is just sketchy.

Cons

You are literally in the street asking for donations (doesn’t matter the weather) and you only get 30% of what you earned for the day. You don’t even get the see the impact for the charity you are fundraising for.

This is the worst job I have EVER had.

Pros

You feel like you’re helping your community and serving nonprofits (only a portion of donations collected even actually go to these organizations).

Cons

There is literally a YouTube documentary called The Slave Circle which speaks about companies run JUST like this one - some of which are currently being sued in class action law suits for illegal business practices. If you are considering working for this company and for Jerry, I implore you to take the time to watch this documentary before making your final decision. They will make it seem too good to be true in the interview - let me tell you: IT IS. The company is built like a pyramid scheme with an insanely high turnover rate. Jerry said multiple times that he reserves the right to not pay employees at all for the week if they miss one day. This would be used as a tactic to scare people into committing 60 hour work weeks with no sick days or time off for doctors appts, etc.

Pros

Definitely gained small-talk conversation skills and persuasion techniques.

Cons

People are unprofessional, and they underpay. They make you travel very far everyday and reimburse 2.50 dollars only if they assign you to give a ride to coworkers. At the end of the day, their business is to try to sell you the idea of becoming a director role while substantially underpaying you. I felt guilty for capitalizing on child suicide the entire time I worked there. Even if you are desperate for money, I don't recommend "working" aka wasting your precious time here.
