Pros

Decent location in Tarrytown, some existing clients for legacy sales deals.

Cons

Where do I start...company leadership shows zero interest in expanding the business or incentivizing sales - only interested in lining their own pockets. Business decisions are made based on how it will benefit company owners, not the company itself. They pull big salaries and pay minimal amounts to the rest of the company. Even worse, they'll let key employees leave instead of giving marginal increases, which perpetually hurts the business. Morale is always low, and business is stagnant.

Pros

Was given room to grow into higher responsibilities and take on my own projects My professional skillset grew in leaps and bounds while here, primarily due to the direct management team Management in the Product Developent department was a strong, reasonable, knowledgable, and kind team who encouraged and guided us very well, and advocated for our raises and well-treatment Social events encouraged, such as group yoga and weekend socialization Internships are paid, however may be expected to occasionally clean out closets Was given a full-time position straight out of college

Cons

Upper management promotes newer male employees to higher positions over longer-term female employees with a proven track record of success and dedication It was well known that the sales team were nurtured more than other teams as they were the direct money-makers, and some sales members were kept on when they had outdated tactics and views Easy environment to overwork, sometimes it's encouraged Hours worked tracked even for salaried workers Very few paid days off, and additional paid days off only earned each year the employee works Health insurance was expensive, and the company could have done more to assist us with it Lots of gossip in the office
