Pros

Fair benefits, decent human beings. Good work-life balance.

Cons

If you don't fit in with the uber conservative culture at corporate, it is challenging. Many have been there for a VERY long time and if you don't fit in to their mold...it is painful. And don't attempt to change their thinking. A go-with-the-gut culture unwilling to adapt to current best practices.

Lots of flexibility and freedom to own your job/try new things.

Cons

They restructure the company every few years and lay a ton of people off unexpectedly. Poor planning and bad leadership across the board. Not much room for growth unless it’s at the expense of other employees being laid off… Just did a huge lay off and 2 high level employees were posting their “promotion” status 2 days later which pretty much sums it all up.
