Pros

This production company has some very sharp-minded heads running it. Their work is exceptional and noteworthy.

Cons

The "Production Executive" position is a telemarketing position that demeans those with a degree and knowledge of the film industry.

Pros

Nothing comes to mind, honestly.

Cons

They tell you that you will be speaking to investors, when you will actually be calling mom and pop shops that want nothing to do with you or the company. They tell you commissions start to build up to about 1 per month after a few months, however even people with high lead counts barley make many commissions. The so called "closers" very rarely close a deal, and are responsible for your commission. The closers will lead you on saying they have someone on the line, but ultimately goes nowhere 9 times out of 10. Again, you do not make your own commissions, but rather gather leads for the closers to close, and you see 0 dollars until they do so. If you research similar companies doing what they're doing, it feels more and more like a scam than anything. It is a cold calling job, not a production executive job, you sit in a bland room for 9 hours a day making 500 calls to people who want nothing to do with you. The call lists are extremely outdated. My coworkers and I have called wrong numbers and dead people multiple times a day.

Pros

You learn a little about investing, sales/marketing and independent film production. Might be good if you wanna start your own production company. They give hourly pay and commission for your investors who invest.

Cons

you sit on your butt for 8 hours a day staring at the computer learning almost nothing, repeating the script like your a broken record. They will lay off employees if they don't make commission in 3 months. If you leave the company and your investor invests, you don't get the commission. Very low hourly pay. I feel like I wasted my time.
