Pros
good training even though it is a small firm. Because the workload is not that much, the scrutiny of the partner of each work is much higher and the quality expected is higher. Pay is good for a small firm too.
Cons
The partner's scolding can be brutal at times, and is dependent on said partner's mood of the day. Not much camaraderie unless you can bond with the other associates, which I was able to, but had seen some people being isolated because they could not.
