      Pros

      Working for an independent pharmacy allows more time to actually speak with patients and build rapport.

      Cons

      No pay increase after 2 years of working. Staffing issues at times left you by yourself. Owner is constantly checking the cameras to make sure you are doing exactly what they want you to.

      -Less workload than traditional retail (CVS or Walgreens) -Ability to get to know your patients -Sense of purpose in growing the business

      -No pay raises -Limited end of year bonus -Owner watches you on their cameras via phone
