Pros

When I worked there, the other staff (not management) were very supportive and understanding ... we were very much “all in this together.” The ridiculously fast-paced environment coupled with the stream of never-ending tasks really prepares you well for your next job because anything afterward is a breeze.

Cons

Literally everything else about this job. - abusive management and clients that don’t trust you to do your job, I’ve been sworn and yelled at many times - low pay but astronomical expectations - no overtime; I had to stay late all the time and worked through many lunches to finish my tasks but was never compensated - At least one person was fired every month, usually more -I was asked to do legitimately sketchy things by management clients were unaware of I have no idea how good reviews for this company exist. I would bet a lot of money that they’re fake.

Difficult Work Environment

Pros

Despite the largely negative impact this company had on my life, it was a learning experience. This job taught me how to manage tasks that were piled onto me without warning, how to deal with customers that can be occasionally demanding or rude, and how to react when faced with bullying or intimidation from management and supervisors in the office. On the other hand, co-workers were often more than understanding and willing to offer support when another worker was overworked, distressed, and/or experiencing difficult times.

Cons

Management does not trust any of their employees. This makes it difficult to complete the tasks at hand when information is being withheld. Yet more often than not, when a problem arises or they fail to deliver what they promised, management will blame the employee. Management is unethical and has continuously under-compensated employees when it came to mileage reimbursements - they paid thirty cents less than the legal mileage compensation requirement in the province of Ontario at the time I worked there. Workers were expected and told to be at work and begin working on their tasks before office hours began, and were expected to stay and complete their work with no overtime pay or lieu hours. Management also refuses to pay overtime, and will only allow lieu hours if an employee worked after hours or on weekends. On top of that, they will also micromanage how you take your lieu hours and make unsolicited suggestions about when those hours should be taken. Supervisors would call/text employees on their personal phones after hours and on weekends demanding for them to complete new tasks, or for employees to contact clients directly using their personal numbers instead of using a work phone. Was told, on multiple occasions, to lie and deliberately hide important information to clients while working on projects with them. Management advertises the company as unionized to prospective clients when employees are not at the time I worked there. Verbal abuse is never acceptable in the workplace. Management will swear at, yell, slam doors, storm out of the office, and intimidate employees to show their displeasure. They have threatened employees' jobs and belittle the work that they have done. This is absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate.

Pros

Will never have to work there again.

Cons

Owner will yell and bully the employees and will not listen to any advice, reason or logical explanations I felt like I was walking on eggshells the whole time. Their I.T department was falling apart the first day I got there. They have very poor infrastructure and poor training of new employees. They forward tickets to their secretaries instead of level 1 support and play broken telephone with customers tickets. They expect you to know their system on the first day even when they don't even understand the system themselves, It became a very stressful as simple tickets would be in que for over 30 days. Clients were threatening to leave the company 1st day I was there. I was used as a scapegoat and blamed and penalized for things I never did. I would avoid this company at all costs.
