Pros

There are a handful of people at the publishing house who actually care about the work.

Cons

Bullying and harassment from coworkers gave me a nervous breakdown. I was working 70+ hours a week for $30k a year and dealing with a toxic work environment on top of that. Top-heavy management with a bunch of old guys who produce nothing. Female employees are noticeably underpaid compared to male employees.

Pros

Wonderful people to work with Great opportunities to develop ideas Supportive Management

Cons

At the time when I was there, they seemed somewhat stuck in the past. They were in the process of bringing in more future forward leaders.
