      Poor management, Deeply rooted politics, Mistreatment towards juniors, No support and toxic work culture that makes it difficult to work everyday

      Toxic workplace culture

      Pros

      - The work can be rewarding and usually felt meaningful. - Most colleagues were nice and supportive.

      Cons

      - Upper management was disconnected from those on the ground. - Often felt micro-managed. - Bullying that was not addressed and often exacerbated by those in upper management (I am aware of several staff who resigned due to toxic culture) - Unsustainable caseloads. - Unsupportive of flexible working arrangements even after working from home successfully during Covid for 2 years.

      Cannot think of one, most unpleasant experience of my career!

      Toxic culture driven by ineffectual Leadership team completely out of touch with reality and possessing no leadership skills at all.
