Pros

Most people are great. Salary is decent. Ability to affect change. On the job training and education. Nice facility with food on premises. Able to learn and grow.

Cons

Extremely stressful! Unrealistic deadlines. Intensive workload. No work/life balance. Micromanaged. Long hours. No recognition. Unclear goals and expectations. Demanding managers. Constant criticism and stuffy, condescending attitudes. No bonuses. High turnover. Low employee moral. Poor location, difficult to get to. Not enough offices. Low visibility of executive staff - ivory tower culture. Title driven organization.

Pros

A step back in time? Its like you are walking back into the 1980s. You learn what you don't want in an employer.

Cons

No work life balance. No communication. No organization. No direction. No teamwork. No transparency. Full of paranoia. Secrets. Employee moral is terrible. People are sad and downtrodden. Organization hides behind facility names (which aren't branded as UHS on purpose) to try and protect itself. Look up the lawsuits and terrible reviews of the facilities under the UHS umbrella. Or look at the Buzzfeed article. There is no focus on patient care. Constant turnover. Constant lawsuits. Positions are vacant for months, even years. Just do some research.

Pros

Team was the best I've worked with so far. Management supports you and gives you opportunity to grow. Within the department itself, they encourage cross-training with other analysts and furthering your education / certifications. The team itself is fun and light-hearted. Great group of people to work with. It was a small security team so lots of opportunity to work on a variety of projects so you're never bored. Opportunities to lead projects and grow as an analyst. CISO has an open door policy and cares about you as a person and what you want to do career wise. Vacation: 3 weeks Pros: 3 weeks vacation, great team to work with, diverse work and opportunity to grow, good work life balance

Cons

Traditional organization - you are not allowed to work remote or work from home ever. Pay also sucks compared to other opportunities in Philly and other cities. Dress is business casual with ties depending on whether you're at HQ or not. Cons: pay sucks, dress is formal, remote work or work from home is prohibited
