Pros

There isn't really anything good to say here. It would be a lie if I put anything here

Cons

Honestly the worst place to work. You can make more at McDonald's in any position here, and be less stressed. So many broken promises, whether it was upgrading systems (still running AutoCAD and while I was there my "trial" ran out so I was not able to do anything until that was fixed), pay increases they find any way to get out of it, the list can go on and on. They say their benefits are great but it was 300 a pay check, which was twice a month (not biweekly either), and then the insurance didn't cover anything. Then the flexible schedule with "competitive" PTO was hilarious. If you requested off they still thought you needed to do the work because there was no one to help. Then 9 hour days without lunch. So if you wanted to eat anything you were working 10 hrs or eating through your lunch. They did perfect attendance awards but if you took PTO or clocked in late you were disqualified even if you still put in the time. The management was abysmal to say the least. I worked there during the pandemic and worked in the office until we got shut down. I had immune compromised people in my house and they threatened my job if I didn't return to the office, after they created a separate business to keep their doors open but still had me working on displays, but expected me to know the other side of the "new" business while being swamped with displays. Then the micro management. They wanted you to track what you worked on in detail through out the day. Not to track billable hours to clients but to track you, and if something didn't add up then you were harassed being asked why. They expected you do do multiple jobs, didn't matter if it was part of your job description. I was calling suppliers and ordering materials, quoting, engineering, designing, prototype, shipping. Burn out was no joke. The GM and Owner were best friends so there was no push back their word was law.
