-Juneteenth replaced indigenous day as a holiday- because that is showing inclusivity -micro managing by senior leaders who do not understand the day to day of anyone in enrollment ops -no concern for employee well being -true top performers are put on ‘special projects’ that are essentially punishment because prevents bonusing and promotions. This is because nothing is ever thought through prior to being rolled out. Meanwhile those that do horrible quality or spend their whole day on after call work are praised and rewarded -too top heavy with senior leaders that do not know anything -most of product does not understand anything either but they are treated like royalty and will work on only things they want to -if you have an opinion you are automatically labeled as a complainer, petty and having an attitude -senior leaders talk behind your back but don’t have the guts to say it to your face. Meaning they know they don’t have a leg to stand on -favoritism is big and obvious; they get a point for at least not trying to hide it -senior leaders are very rude and bullies. They will cut you mid sentence and gaslight you constantly. You would think that’s their job description -feedback has been given in great lengths but they don’t care. They are very big on playing dumb -layoffs for majority of enrollment ops happening October 2023. Only kept employees they felt they could manipulate, but are already losing some of those. We were always doing the work of multiple people but now it is magnified- however no increase in pay -they do not understand their demographic. Goal is to do everything digital which is not what the elderly want -demoted any assistant manager that was not laid off as ‘no need for managers. So only 2 male managers and head of enrollment ops who is also a male left. I was hopeful a female owned and led company wouldn’t be misogynistic but I’ve been wrong before -goals are unattainable because never given the tools we need to succeed Overall, this has been the most toxic experience of my life and I’ve seen the joy and life dwindle from so many peers. However, what is even worse is how clueless the leaders are (and I use that term very lightly- remember I’m petty right?). They had a team of employees that genuinely supported Uno’s mission and wanted to help the elderly. The wrong people were hired, they were given too much power, and we became corporate financial world. Uno completely lost sight of its mission. And we’re helping less members than ever so not sure what the ‘plan’ is. Any potential future employee: don’t sell yourself short by taking the offer. Don’t even waste your time interviewing Fun fact: they fired 90% of enrollment ops, but are hiring, but don’t know when. Truly laughable
