The best reason to work at Unpakt is the same as the best reason to hit yourself in the head with a hammer. Because it feels so good when you stop.
Cons
I have been employed since I was 14 years old, and Unpakt is far and away the worst place I've ever worked. When I started it was a growing team of 15+ people, in an office off of Union Square. When I left a year later, we were crammed into the back room off of 10th ave, only about 6 people remaining. Nearly every person who left Unpakt did it without a job to fall back on. With New York City rent, I don't this there is any stronger condemnation for a place of business. I, like every single other person who wrote a review, lay the blame with the CEO. You quickly get the feeling he is looking to screw you and everyone else who works there. The only sense of community I felt was like a support group- patting the back of whomever got screamed at that day. Life is short. Don't hate where you work.
