We do take new grads, as we want good opportunities for employment for those who graduate and want to be psychotherapists, get their full license eventually, and where they can learn with reasonable work-life balance -- something I never had when I entered the field. You're right, if you don't fit our mold, you are probably not a good fit for the company. Our mold is someone with mutual accountability -- we will pay you XYZ salary and benefits -- if you hold up on your end of the bargain. If that deal does not work, then you are absolutely correct we will "go after you", as in we will discuss the issue with you, try to resolve it reasonably, and if we can't make things work, then we have to address that reality. Best of luck out there!
