Pros

Solid mission, vision, and values. Team is important and in the field, you can see that clinics become like families. With patience and hard work you can definitely move up in this company.

Cons

New graduates as clinic managers that are not fully trained, so lots of 'retraining' or high learning curve happens. Good or seasoned therapist have work loads that are always pushed too high, which means that a frustrated boss will likely become overwhelmed and quit. The max you can get is a 3% raise.

Lack of Employee Benefits and Recognition

Pros

I have been thinking of what to put here for about thirty minutes and, unfortunately, cannot come up with anything.

Cons

I've been with Upstream for some time now, including both in the clinic and corporate settings, and unfortunately, I must express my disappointment with the overall treatment of employees. The company lacks essential benefits, such as federal holidays off, Christmas bonuses, and reasonable PTO. The PTO accrual system is particularly frustrating, as it takes years for any significant increase. This hinders work-life balance and employee well-being. Additionally, the benefits package is subpar, offering little support for employees' health and financial needs. One major concern is the compensation structure. The pay is below industry standards, and the maximum 3% raise after the first year doesn't reflect the hard work and dedication employees invest. Overall, there's a noticeable lack of consideration for the well-being and motivation of the workforce. I hope the company reevaluates its employee-centric policies to create a more positive and rewarding work environment, but unfortunately that is unlikely.
