Pros

Usborne works on some very interesting and great topics within the children publishing market. Some of the styles and designs are also very nice across the books produced by the publisher. The office is also in a great location Some lovely people working at Usborne with years of experience

Cons

There is a strong passive aggressive culture strengthen by people that have worked there for a long time. There are some really lovely people working in the company but a few people that have been allowed to behave poorly and get away with it for too long. There is also a lack of HR support that I feel is a massive issue if you aren't comfortable in your team or work environment. HR appear to not care about your well being and I have personally never been in a company with such poor HR care before. The office is also very out dated. Nowhere to eat or sit away apart from your desk and a lot of dust and poor lighting.

Team below manager fine, friendly and work well together

Cons

Large gap between managers and team. Director and manager only care about eachother. No time for struggling staff member
