Dishonest company

Pros

They offer remote work, the base salary is decent, and some of the employees are friendly.

Cons

The leadership team is dishonest and self serving. There is no HR department. There are almost no benefits, no job security, outdated tech, an outdated product, poor project management, and overworked employees. The 4-day work week is false advertising to try to keep the current employees happy. There is no company culture, and after letting so many people go, the employees are always stressed and anxious.

Pros

Free snacks Being downtown is cool. You have a place for free parking on the weekends to go drinking. You will definitely need a drink working there.

Cons

Horrible leadership and vision People are constantly leaving or being fired because leadership gets bored. No idea how they got a 5 star rating. They have been around for 10 years, but still consider themselves a start-up. They lack the discipline necessary to take the company to the next level.

Pros

Really talented engineering team that functions cohesively, solves challenging problems, and has fun doing it. Good focus on career growth, transparent leadership team, good pay and benefits, great downtown location, great company culture (if you don’t like political drama), can’t say enough great things.

Cons

Small company bumps here and there, which could make one uncomfortable if change makes you uncomfortable. Sometimes we’re so focused on execution we fail to take time to communicate across the different teams.
