Pros

The only pros are the ones that come with any government job, off all State and Federal holidays.

Cons

So many cons, Judges can be mean and condescending to Judicial Assistants, the demand of having to be in the courtroom all the time is draining, the case managers are literally AWFUL, they don't let you work from home and you have to justify all your time off requests. It is not good enough to say that I have a doctor's appointment, you have to tell your manager why you are going to the doctor and what is wrong. The culture is toxic, staff gets to screw around all day. There is literally ZERO training, once you are hired you are on your own. The Clerk of Court is a joke, she has no class and no professionalism. Save yourself the hassle, don't even apply here.

Pros

State benefits and holidays off.

Cons

There is a toxic culture in the AOC and management protects each other fiercely. I was bullied every single day I worked there and my bully was promoted and often applauded for work I did.
