Pros

Relaxed atmosphere, interesting work (sometimes)

Cons

Salary is well-below market Work and efforts are not appreciated President takes credit for the work of others in the organization Considering a 40-year history, the organization has no effective processes President has a "problem with women" Members of the organization couldn't meet a deadline if their lives depended on it! Board members are completely oblivious to the ineffectiveness of this organization because the President caters to their every whim, while ignoring the fires burning back at the office

Pros

Really cool work on a variety of topics. I'm never bored.

Cons

Nonprofits have limited resources. So that can make hosting events and getting our research to the masses trickier.

Pros

Utah Foundation has been providing non-partisan public policy research for more than 70 years. Very professional staff, high credibility in the community.

Cons

As a non-profit, Utah Foundation is subject to the vicissitudes of fundraising and its budget can come up short.
