Pros

Uzio is a small company that tries to punch above it's weight class. This means that every team member is highly visible and is given a lot of latitude to own things that it might take years for you to get a crack at in larger organizations. I can see my own personal improvement in doing certain activities over the course of over three months whereas in previous companies, I may be doing the same activities and not really growing over the course of a year. However, this also makes it a challenging place to work, as you need to be willing to learn without ego, put yourself in difficult client positions, and occasionally fail. Working at Uzio absolutely takes a certain mindset.

Cons

Occasionally our client commitments outpace the reality of our product capability/internal processes, which causes individual contributors to have to extend in order to maintain business continuity.

Pros

All the Pros are reserved for the Management whatsoever.

Cons

1. HR and Management are biased towards tenured employees in terms of employee benefits, awards, salary and appraisals. 2. There is no professional system to make or break an employee. They will fire you on a personal grudge without considering employee's hard work. 3. No acknowledgement or encouragement for some employees. 4. Lack of transparency between employer and employee due to dirty management. 5. Manipulation, Politics and Gossip are the daily regime in the Uzio office. 6. Senior employees can mistreat/talk badly to a new employee. And management/HR don't take any action because they are senior.
