Good stepping stone. Zero room for growth.

Pros

Good benefits and some good people that work in the company.

Cons

No room for growth. No career path unless you want to wait until your 35-40 to make decent money(50k). They are losing all of their younger people because they realize they are worth more than what they are getting paid. Unless you have two forms of income, you cannot live on what V pays you. Your hard work and dedication goes unnoticed. There were some people putting in 40+ hours of OT a month and V wouldn't get them help.

Pros

Benefits are the only pro. They pay for their employee healthcare, 401k match was good, PTO package is good.

Cons

Management name called and raised his voice at me on 2 occasions. I found out exactly how underpaid I was when I left. I now make almost 50% more in less than a year after leaving. All my job offers were significantly higher. I was given so much work that multiple people had to be hired to replace me. There was no work/life balance. When you take PTO, you have to work ahead because your partner is overworked and cannot get to your shipments also. They promote males over females. When I first started I had been expressing interest in a promotion. I watched a male employee that I was training be given the position after working there for only 2 weeks with no experience. The only reason I was promoted is because I threatened to quit. That's just 1 example. If you get sick or hurt, you get fired when you return to work from long term disability.
